Spinal Rehab Centre - Laura Fergusson Trust

More than five years after the closure of the Laura Ferguson Trust’s Greenlane rehabilitation facility, a new purpose-built centre has opened in Auckland to support people recovering from spinal injuries. The Trust, which has provided rehabilitation services since the 1970s, closed the original site in 2020 due to ongoing financial pressures, leaving many patients without access to essential support. With new leadership now in place, the organisation has re-established rehabilitation services and announced plans to develop more than 160 permanent and transitional homes for physically disabled Aucklanders.
